ClioGIS was founded by Erin Tyson and Josh Conrad in 2023. After working together as architectural historians and data specialists in the preservation field for nearly a decade, they decided to focus on developing new GIS projects and services for a wider range of history work.

Erin has over 20 years of experience, and Josh over 15 years, as GIS specialists on cultural resource management projects across the US. Erin lives in Kailua, Hawaii, and Josh is based in Austin, Texas.
